Applying for an ABN is a straightforward process. In most cases, you will receive your ABN in minutes.
You will need to provide your personal details, such as name, date of birth, address, and tax file number (TFN).
Otherwise, your tax agent can provide advice and, if you are eligible, apply for an ABN on your behalf.
You can apply for an ABN from the ATO for free here.
